50th National Day

Lets pray for our country 50th National Day. " Father in heaven, we would like to pray for our country, Lord. Thank You for giving us such a peaceful country where there is no war or any disasters. We would pray for our nation as our country have its 50th year of independence. Thank You for your protection, Father and in Jesus name we pray.Live the spirit for our country and for you Father. Meeting 17th August

This meeting is a littlebit SPECIAL. WHY?? Because we have it in the library and a guest speaker came. We begin our meeting with a word of prayer. Brian Chow then lead the Praise and Worship with Han Ern, the guitarist. We sang Abba Father. After that, we introduce many special guests. We welcome them to our CF! It is a great pleasure for letting them join our CF. Our speaker, Brother Sebastian Goh came and preach to us. He talked about Genesis, his experience before accepting Christ and others. Meeting 10th August 2007

We begin our meeting with a word of prayer. After that, is ice breaking. The game is called pea nut game where the person sit at the center and catch the 5 nuts. If he guess wrongly, he will be punished to eat peanuts! hahaha. The we move on to Praise and Worship. We sang The Time Has Come and From The Inside Out. The guitarist is Jonathan Kok and the song leader is matthew(always......). After that, is preaching time by Pastor Rudy. He is an ex La Sallian. Former CF president 1995. And now he is a PASTOR!!! Before he preached, he cheered us up, told us about how is our CF during his time, and told us some funny jokes. LOLZ! Back to serious time.He preached about Mark 2:3. He told us a story about a paralyzed man got cured by Jesus. At first, he do not believe Jesus but his four friends helped him. They try everything to help their paralyzed friend and finally SUCCEED!!! This teaches us that only we can change our present and future. There is no way we can change the past because it was already done. Thank You Pastor Rudy. God bless. We ended our meeting with a word of prayer. Amen.

Meeting 3rd August 2007

OK. our usual venue for our meeting is back to normal. First, around 1.00, we planned for an icebreaking called Truth or Dare while the musicians are practicing and getting ready. Suddenly, here comes our teacher advisor, Miss Ng

Miss Ng : Sorry, i am late. Oh started already ah??? sing those song edi??
Brian : Erm, we all about to begin. We play game first, let the musicians practice.
Miss Ng : Aiyo, havent started yet ah???!!! 1.15 edi la. Cannot make it in time. Better start Praise and Worship now.
Brian : Okok. The musicians not yet practice enough yet
Miss Ng : Nevermind, without music oso we will sing

We begin our meeting with the word of prayer.So the musicians came forward for Praise and Worship. We sang All Majesty and Lift Up Your Eyes. Praise and Worship was lead by Matthew Tan and the guitarist this time is KUMARESAN!!! After that, we have offering prayed by Brian Teoh. Come over with testimonials. And last but not least sharing. For this week, is Brian's turn. He shared about God's assurance. Its halfway as we have no time. So to be continued next week...... We learned about the Four Truth. We only covered up the first and second one. The first one is about God, our creator, loves us!1! It was proved in John 3:16 and John 10:10

John 3:16= For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but habve eternal life.

John 10:10= The thief comes only to steal and destroy; i(Jesus) have come that they may have life and have it to the full

Next is Our Sin has seperated us from God! It was proved in Romans 6:23 and Romans 3:23

Romans 6:23= for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 3:23= For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus ou Lord
